The Mindful Mango Opened Jan 2010

The Mindful Mango, which opened its doors in January 2010, is a social enterprise that was born out of a partnership between Connections Halifax (formerly known as Connections Clubhouse) and Partners for Care, a registered charity responsible for commercial ventures and partnerships at Capital Health.

The Mindful Mango has a commitment to a triple bottom line. We care about:
  • Our people – We practice fair and beneficial business practices for people and the community, advancing employment equity.
  • Our planet – We are committed to sustainable environmental practices.
  • Our community – We will reinvest any profits in local progressive community mental health initiatives.

The Mindful Mango serves great-tasting, healthy foods proudly made from our own recipes with fresh, locally-sourced, fairly traded ingredients whenever we can.

We emphasize “clean foods,” i.e. foods that are wholesome, minimally processed, lower sugar and fat content, and free of additives and chemicals.

If you or a loved one are interested in employment opportunities with the Mindful Mango, contact Nancy Beck at Connections Halifax @ 473-8696.
